CHICAGO (AP) - The winter storm that's pummeling the East Coast has forced airlines to cancel more than 170 flights in Chicago.

A spokeswoman for the Chicago Department of Aviation reports Monday that the severe weather in the east has resulted in more than 150 flight cancellations at O'Hare International Airport and 20 cancellations at Midway International Airport. The department says there were no delays at O'Hare for flights traveling in and out of other parts of the United States. At Midway, delays were averaging 15 minutes for a few flights. The Aviation Department is advising travelers worried about their flights to arrive at the airports at least two hours early.
