Hamilton to be inducted into Nebraska Aviation Hall of Fame

Bill-HamiltonBill Hamilton will be inducted into the Nebraska Aviation Hall of Fame on Jan. 26, 2017, during the silver anniversary of the Nebraska Aviation Symposium, which he helped found 25 years ago.

Hamilton was nominated for induction into the hall of fame by former Nebraska Governor Charles Thone.

Maiden flight for M-345 trainer

leonardoLeonardo performed a 30min maiden flight of its Aermacchi M-345 trainer on 29 December from its Venegono Superiore facility in northern Italy.

“The aircraft conducted itself perfectly, meeting the expectations of the design parameters while showing excellent performance,” says Quirino Bucci, a test pilot for Leonardo’s aircraft division.

Drone Company Could Face Nearly $2 Million in Fines
